William J. ‘Billy Joe’ Bruckerhoff Jr.

A funeral will be held Monday, February 9th, 2004 for 53-year-old William J. "Billy Joe" Bruckerhoff Jr. of St. Mary who died Thursday, February 5th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 2nd, 1950 in St. Mary, the son of William J. Bruckerhoff Sr., and Edna L. (Moll) Bruckerhoff. Both survive in St. Mary.

Survivors also include: three brothers, Vernon Bruckerhoff of St. Mary, Clyde Bruckerhoff of St. Louis and James Bruckerhoff of St. Mary; three sisters, Virginia, and her husband Earl Moore of St. Mary, Betty Stennett of St. Louis and Clara Mertz of St. Louis; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by: two sisters, Debbie Denninger and Velma Bruckerhoff and three brothers, Francis Bruckerhoff, Tony Bruckerhoff and John Bruckerhoff.

He was a volunteer at Perryville Grade School as a teacher of the English language to foreign students.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, February 8th at the Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary.

A funeral for 53-year-old William J. "Billy Joe" Bruckerhoff of St. Mary will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 9th at the Immaculate Conception Church in St. Mary. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Richard Kasznel will officiate.

Memorials may be made to masses or the American Heart Association.
