A funeral will be held Monday, December 20th, 2004 for 95-year-old Helen V. Gegg of New Offenburg who died Thursday, December 16th at Riverview at the Park in Ste. Genevieve.

She was born January 19, 1909 in New Offenburg, the daughter of Nicholas and Anna M. (Hogenmiller) Schwent, who preceded her in death.

She married Anton F. Gegg. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: a sister, Alice Isenman of Weingarten and several nieces and nephews.

Four sisters and a brother also preceded her in death: Rose Gegg, Mary Hurst, Emma Flieg, Martha Schweiss and Joseph Schwent.

She was a member of the Rosary Sodality at Weingarten and the Sodality of Mary.

Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday, December 19th at the Basler Funeral Home.

A funeral for 95-year-old Helen V. Gegg of New Offenburg will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 19th Our Lady, Help of Christians Catholic Church in Weingarten. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. William Wigand will officiate.
