Beulah Elizabeth (Cooper) Syck James A funeral was held this morning for 81-year-old Beulah Elizabeth (Cooper) Syck James of Ste. Genevieve who died Friday, April 23rd at the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 18th, 1922 in Princeton, West Virginia, the daughter of James Austin and Victoria Elizabeth (Wills) Cooper who both preceded her in death. She married Bennett Syck who preceded her in death. She married Eugene V. James who also preceded her in death. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Joe and Mary Ann James of Columbia; Jerry and Sue Syck of Brea, California; and Ed and Barb James, Sandy and Henry Carron, Brenda and Charlie Stretch, Gary and Lynn James and Terri and David Wipfler all of Ste. Genevieve; Bill and Bernice James of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Cheryl and Michael Seawel of Oakville and Mary Ann Holmes of Riverside, California; 24 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends. She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ste. Genevieve, the Business and Professional Women's Association, the Presbyterian Circle Genevieve and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 2210. A funeral for 81-year-old Beulah Elizabeth (Cooper) Syck James of Ste. Genevieve was held this morning at the First Presbyterian Church in Ste. Genevieve. Burial was in the Crestlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Tisha Mundy officiated. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund. The Wood Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
