Elaine Frances (Meyer) Hollabaugh A funeral will be held Wednesday, September 24th, 2003 for Elaine Frances (Meyer) Hollabaugh of Fulton, who died Sunday, September 21st at her home. She was born July 1st, 1953 in Perryville, the daughter of Richard C. and Wilhelmina M. (Palmer) Meyer, who both preceded her in death. She married David S. Hollabaugh on July 14th, 1979 in Ste. Genevieve. He survives in Fulton. Survivors also include: three children, Eric M. Hollabaugh, Laura L. Hollabaugh and Scott J. Hollabaugh all of Fulton; four sisters and brothers in law, Rita and James Brumfield, Ruth and Thomas Schweiss, and Margaret and Joseph Shirey, all of Ste. Genevieve; and Marilyn and Thomas Mahler of Denver, Colorado; one brother and sister in law, Clarence and Vicki Meyer of Chesterfield; her mother in law, Georgiann Hollabaugh; six brothers and sisters in law, Susan and James Wanserski of Atlanta, Georgia; Marc and Nina Hollabaugh of Kansas City; Daniel and Jennifer Hollabaugh of Blue Springs; Greg and Laura Hollabaugh of Kirkwood; Peter and Anne and David Switzer of Overland Park, Kansas; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a 1971 graduate of Valle Catholic High School and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, before graduating from St. Louis University with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. She was most recently a self-employed physical therapist at South Callaway Schools, New Bloomfield Schools and Missouri School for the Deaf. She previously was employed was a self-employed physical therapist at North Calloway Schools, Fulton Schools, and Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center. Before that, she was employed as a physical therapist at Columbia Regional Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital and Callaway Community Hospital. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, snow skiing, South Callaway Athletic Boosters, and spending time with family and friends. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, September 23rd at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. A funeral mass for 50-year-old Elaine Frances (Meyer) Hollabaugh of Fulton will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 24th at St. Peter Catholic Church in Fulton. The Rev. Greg Oligschaeger will officiate. An inurnment graveside service will be held Saturday, September 27th at noon in the Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
