Marie Hattie Ball

A funeral will be held Thursday, September 25th, 2003 for 87-year-old Marie Hattie Ball of Bonne Terre, formerly of Ste. Genevieve, who died Tuesday, September 23rd at Parkland Health Center in Farmington.

She was born July 25th, 1916 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of Vorst and Hattie (Maurice) Moore, who both preceded her in death.

She married Leeman H. Ball. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: a son and daughter in law, Charles Ben and Angie Ball of Festus; three daughters and two sons in law, Carol A. Ball of Festus, Jane E. and James Davis of Farmington and Janet M. and Rodney D. Hahn of Desloge; eight grandchildren, Cheryl Ball of Jefferson City, Hannah Ball of Festus, Jennifer Clemmons of Washington, Annie Clemmons of Farmington, Nick Davis of Cape Girardeau, Eric Hahn of Columbia, Ryan Hahn of Desloge and Corey Davis of Lawrence, Kansas; one great grandson, Jacob Zacharia Sutton of Washington, a sister, Anna (Mrs. Earl) Fallert of Ste. Genevieve and a brother, Vorst Moore of Ponce de Leon, Florida.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Park Hills and the Ladies Sodality.

Visitation will be this (Wednesday, September 24th, 2003) afternoon at 3, with a prayer service at 5:30 at the C. Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.

A funeral for 87-year-old Marie Hattie Ball of Bonne Terre, formerly of Ste. Genevieve, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 25th at the Immaculate Conception church in Park Hills. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. The Rev. Jim French will officiate.
