A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, September 22, 2003 for 91-year-old Frank L. Garner, who died Thursday, Sept. 18 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

He was born on December 6th, 1911 in East Prarie, Missouri, to Joseph and Ida (Mahon) Garner.

He was married to Lucille (Martindale) Garner on November 16th, 1947. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by 8 brothers and 5 sisters.

Two daughters survive: Joan Hollers of Ste. Genevieve, and Carol Scherrer of St. Louis. 

One brother survives: Ray Garner of Peoria, Illinois.

Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside funeral services for Frank L. Garner will be held Monday, September 22, 2003 at 1 p.m. at the Howard Cemetery in Smithville, Illinois. The funeral is under the direction of the Basler Funeral Home of Ste. Genevieve.
