Ethel J. Gottman Funeral service will be held Monday, Oct. 6, 2003 for 82-year-old Ethel J. Gottman of Ste. Genevieve who died Friday, Oct. 3 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center. She was born on March 30, 1921 in Mill Creek, the daughter of the late Harry and Della Jane (Bess) Walker. She was married to Lee Roy Gottman on Feb. 6, 1937. He preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1989. Five sons, four daughters-in-law, five daughters and five sons-in-law survive: Donald and Sue Gottman of Ironton; Jerry and Jo Gottman of Omaha, Ark.; Dale and Karla Gottman of Ironton; Robert Gottman of Oklahoma City, Okla.; James and Kip Gottman of Tonkawa, Okla.; Patsy and Tom Walsh of Bloomsdale; Judy and Jerry Rose of East Prairie; Hilda and Luther Sellers of Ste. Genevieve; Betty and David Racer of Ste. Genevieve; and Jacqueline and Richard Lipp of Ste. Genevieve. One brother and one sister survive: James L. Walker of Fredericktown; and Wilma Hall of Potosi. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. One son, John Gottman; two daughters Naomi Ruth Gottman and Brenda Joyce Gottman; one brother, Junior Walker; and one sister Alma Ward preceded her in death. Friends may call at the Basler Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 5 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral service for Ethel L. Gottman will be held Monday, Oct. 6, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Basler Funeral Home. Rev. Francis Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery. |
