Virgil E. Fox, Sr. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2003 for 66-year-old Virgil E. Fox Sr. of Burlington Junction, Mo. who died Tuesday, May 27 at his residence in Burlington Junction. He was born on July 9, 1936 in Ellington, the son of the late Elmer and Opal (Faulkenberry) Fox. He was married to Patricia A. (Gibson) Fox on May 17, 1966 in Ironton. She survives. Eleven children survive: Carl E. Fox of Wright City; Virgil "Bo" Fox Jr. of Bloomsdale; James Fox of Ste. Genevieve; Gary Fox of Burlington; Patricia Lawber of St. Louis; Deborah Wilkerson of Cahokia, Ill.; Glenna O’Reilly of Connecticut; Lisa Davis of Ste. Genevieve; Karen Elliott of House Springs; Denise Hutson of Ste. Genevieve; and Pamela Fox of Florida. Two brothers and two sisters survive: Ray Fox of Maryville; Steve Fox of St. Louis; Elda Bunrham of Alton; and Lina Berry of Alhambra, Ill. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita McGraw; a sister, Melba Chitwood; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Friday, May 30 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home. Funeral service for Virgil E. Fox, Sr. will be held Saturday, May 31, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Basler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery. |
