Harold L. Hanks Sr.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, March 26th, 2003 for 70-year-old Harold L. Hanks Sr. of Ste. Genevieve, who died Friday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.

He was born Sunday, November 6th, 1932 in Chester, Illinois, the son of William and Emma (Wilkerson) Hanks who both preceded him in death.

He married Glenna L. Donohue on March 1st, 1952 in St. Louis.

He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Harold and Chris L. Hanks Jr. of the state of Oklahoma and Brian and Crystal Hanks of Ste. Genevieve.

He is also survived by three daughters and sons in law: Karen and Patrick Walsh of Millstadt, Illinois; Shirley and Mark Sherman of Nelson and Sharron and Kurt Kistler of Ste. Genevieve.

He is also survived by two brothers and one sister in law, Tom and Shirley Hanks of Ste. Genevieve and Donald Hanks of St. Louis.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Bob.

He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 150 in Ste. Genevieve.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 25th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 70-year-old Harold L. Hanks Sr. of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26th at the Basler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Raymond Hager will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
