Merle Gowen A funeral will be Tuesday, July 1st, 2003 for 78-year-old Merle Gowen of Bloomsdale, who died Friday, June 27, 2003 at the Riverview Manor Nursing Home in Ste. Genevieve. He was born May 1, 1925 in Ellington, MO, the son of James and Sylva (Warren) Gowen who both preceded him in death. Survivors include one son, Michael Gowen of Albany, California. One daughter, Silvia Gowen survives in Littleton, Colorado. One sister, Dolly Deimund survives in Bloomsdale. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. this evening (Monday, June 30, 2003) at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for Merle Gowen will be held Tuesday, July 1st, 2003 at 10 a.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve, with the Rev. Barry Winders officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
