Larry "Bull" J. Grass, Sr.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 8, 2003 for 62-year-old Larry "Bull" J. Grass, Sr. who died Friday, June 6, 2003 at his residence.

He was born on Dec. 2, 1940 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of the late John grass and Wilma Grass who survives in Ste. Genevieve.

He was married to Sharon J. (Whaley) Grass on June 5, 1976. She survives.

Two sons and four daughters survive: Larry Grass of Texas; James Whaley of Park Hills; Linda Stumbaugh of Fredericktown; Patty Grass of Ste. Genevieve; Gloria Whaley of Minneapolis, Minn.; and Debbie Grass of Potosi.

Nine grandchildren survive: Theresa Harbison of Fredericktown; Mark Stumbaugh of Fredericktown; Gary Williams of Ste. Genevieve; Shawn Williams of Ste. Genevieve; John Williams of Ste. Genevieve; Amand Pomeroy of Texas; Leslie Keen of Texas; Keith Whaley of Park Hills; and Joshua Whaley of Park Hills.

Six great-grandchildren also survive: Brittany Ann Stumbaugh, David & Lee Pomeroy; Nathan and Myria Keen; and Boston Rose Williams.

Two brothers and two sisters survive: Leroy Grass of Ste. Genevieve; James Grass of Wisconsin; Mary Lou Kertz of Bloomsdale; and Betty Carron of Bloomsdale.

A sister, Shirley Buatte, preceded him in death.

He was a member of American Legion Post 150 and owned and operated County Transmission and Repair.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 7 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 8 from 10:00 am – 12:30 p.m.

Funeral service for Larry "Bull" J. Grass Sr. will be held Sunday, June 8, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Church. Rev. Raymond Oge will officiate. Burial will be at Hideaway Acres Family Cemetery in Bloomsdale.
