Robert L. Bond

A funeral will be held Wednesday, February 26th, 2003 for 73-year-old Robert L. Bond of Ste. Genevieve who died today, (Monday, February 24th) at his residence.

He was born December 25th, 1929 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the son of John Wilkes and Arlie (Latham) Bond who both preceded him in death.

He married Frances Roberts. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.

He is also survived by three sons and two daughters in law, Robert Stephen and Susan Bond of Lawrence, Kansas; William Howard and Lydia Bond of Farmington and Frederick Joseph Bond of Leavenworth, Kansas.

One daughter and son in law, Lisa Ruth and Dale House of Bonne Terre also survive.

He is also survived by a brother and sister in law, Ray O. and Patricia Bond of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

One sister and brother in law, Betty and Aaron Ridenour of Poteau, Oklahoma, also survive.

Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild survive.

He was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association; taught math and science at Leadwood and later at Ste. Genevieve until his retirement in 1989.

He served in the Army Air Corps, Air Force and retired from the Navy after 28 years of military service.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 25th at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.

A funeral for 73-year-old Robert L. Bond of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 26th at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Burial will be in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
