Mary A. Fischer

Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2003 for 79-year-old Mary A. Fischer of Bonne Terre who died Saturday, Dec. 6 at Mercy Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

She was born on Nov. 2, 1924 in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Malecek) Komrska.

She was married to William A. Fischer on Nov. 28, 1945.

Five daughters and five sons-in-law survive: Rose and Dan Hordesky of Mapleton, Ill; Fran and Steve Dietrich of Columbia, Ill.; Carol and Mark Rogers of Ballwin; Mary and Chas Curran of St. Louis; and Sue and Ron Stuppy of Bloomsdale.

Two brothers and one sister survive: Br. Paul Komrska S.M. of Lima, Peru; Francis "Fritz" Komrska of St. Louis; and Sr. Pauline Komrska C.S.J. of St. Louis.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Patricia Fischer, and a brother, William Komrska, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be at the Basler Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 12 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

Funeral service for Mary a. Fischer will be held Saturday, Dec. 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Philip and James Church. Rev. Joseph Reilly will officiate.

Burial will be at Sts. Philip and James Cemetery in River Aux Vases.

Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
