Earlyn M. (Naeger) Gegg A funeral will be held Thursday, August 28th, 2003 for 75-year-old Earlyn M. (Naeger) Gegg of River aux Vases who died Monday, August 25th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital in Ste. Genevieve. She was born September 18th, 1927 in Zell, the daughter of Henry and Lena (Bauman) Naeger, who both preceded her in death. She married Welton F. Gegg on June 30th, 1973 at St. Joseph Church in Zell. He survives. Survivors include: two stepsons and their spouses, Robert J. and Nancy Gegg and John C. and Gina Gegg both of River aux Vases; one stepson Richard C. Gegg and his fiancé Loretta Miller, of River aux Vases; a step daughter, Joann F. Gegg of Ste. Genevieve; a step daughter and her spouse, Sharon M. and Mike Wolk of Weingarten; four brothers and sisters in law, Valentine and Rosemary Naeger of Zell, Ernie and Leona Naeger of Ste. Genevieve, Herbert and Vi Naeger of Ste. Genevieve, and Emanuel and Joan Naeger of Zell; one sister and brother in law, Gertrude and Bernard Grieshaber of New Offenburg; a sister in law, Helen Naeger of Zell; and 15 grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Wilfred Naeger; a sister, Sylvia Naeger; and a grandchild. She was a member of Western Catholic Union and the confraternity of Christian Mothers. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 27th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for 75-year-old Earlyn M. (Naeger) Gegg of River aux Vases will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 28th at the Saints Philip and James Catholic Church in River aux Vases. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Reilly will officiate. Memorials may be made to Masses. |
