Marlies L. Boettcher

A funeral will be held Monday, August 4th, 2003 for 52-year-old Marlies L. Boettcher of Frohna who died Friday, August 1st at her home.

She was born September 14th, 1950 in Kussel, Germany, the daughter of Werner Stuppi who preceded her in death and Lilli (Weber) (Stuppi) Sticht, who survives in the Perryville.

She married Donald G. Boettcher on July 11, 1970. He survives in Frohna.

Survivors also include: a son and daughter in law, Kris and Angela Boettcher of Jackson; a daughter and son in law, Kristina and Donnie Cripps of Cairo, Illinois; one brother and one half-brother, Norbert Sticht of Perryville and Ruddiger Stuppi of the nation of Germany; four half-sisters, Dorothy, Anke and Henrika all of the nation of Germany and Denise Glass of Perryville, three grandchildren and her father and mother in law Cornelius and Frieda Boettcher of Frohna.

She was also preceded in death by an infant half-sister.

She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg and former member of the Altenburg Homemakers Club.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Sunday, August 3rd and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Monday, August 4th at the Young and Sons East Perry Chapel.

A funeral for 52-year-old Marlie L. Boettcher of Frohna will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 4th at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Ronald Paseur will officiate.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
