Robert Lee Ditch A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 29th, 2003 for 77-year-old Robert Lee Ditch of Bloomsdale who died Sunday, April 27th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. He was born August 23rd, 1925 in Crystal City, the son of Andrew Ditch and Margaret (Bayer) Ditch who both preceded him in death. He married Wilma L. Crowder on June 9th, 1950 in St. Louis. He is survived by two daughters and one son in law: Elaine Bollinger of Bloomsdale and Robbin and John Kornhardt of Bloomsdale. He is also survived by six brothers and four sisters in law: Wilford Ditch of Mesa, Arizona; Paul and Pearl Ditch of Imperial; Melton and Geraldine Ditch of Bloomsdale; Walter and Dolores Ditch of Bloomsdale; Ernest and Dorothy Ditch of Bloomsdale and William Ditch of the state of Illinois. Two sisters and brothers in law survive: Margaret and Walter Hoover of Ste. Genevieve and Alta and Jim Cage of Arnold. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Julie R., Rachelle R., Kristen A. and Johnrobert. He is also survived by his best friend Charles "Red" Bruns of Piedmont. He is also survived by his beloved pet dog Pixie "Fritz". He was also preceded in death by two brothers, M.L. Ditch and David Ditch and by a sister, Ann Bieller. Visitation will be at 4 p.m. this (Monday, April 28th) afternoon at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for 77-year-old Robert Lee Ditch will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 29th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale. The Rev. Robert Foley will officiate. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. |
