Frank ‘Brownie’ N. Braun A funeral will be held Thursday, April 24th, 2003 for 92-year-old Wilburd "Brownie" N. Braun of Ste. Genevieve who died Monday, April 21st at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. He was born August 17th, 1910 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, the son of Frank A. Braun and Annie M. (Lipp) Braun who both preceded him in death. He married Dorothy G. Lucas on September 19th, 1933 in Festus. A daughter and son in law survive him, Jackie and Bob Zadek of Rockford, Illinois. Two grand children and four great grandchildren also survive him. Two sisters, Alvina Thomure and Virginia Lucas and one brother, Harry Braun, also preceded him in death. He was a member of Rescue Squad in Festus. Visitation will be 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23rd at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for 92-year-old Wilburd "Brownie" N. Braun of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 24th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
