A funeral will be held Wednesday, September 25th, 2002 for 77-year-old Darleen D. Haug of Ste. Genevieve, who died Sunday, September 22nd at her home.

She was born September 8th, 1925 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of Dallard G. and Emma K. (Herman) Haug, who both preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sisters: Bernice G. Gilman and Emma C. Haug, both of Ste. Genevieve.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Haug; and three brothers, William, Earl and Claude Haug.

She founded the Ste. Genevieve County Health Department as the County Nurse in 1956. She was a graduate of St. John Mercy Hospital School of Nursing.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 24th, 2002 at Basler Funeral Home.

A funeral for 77-year-old Darleen D. Haug of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 25th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery. The Reverend Raymond Hager will officiate.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Care or Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
