A funeral will be held Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 for Jean M. Edwards of Ste. Genevieve who died Saturday, October 26th at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington.

She was born Saturday, January 12th, 1924 in Granite City, Illinois, the daughter of Ralph Corbey and Leona (Werths) Corbey who both preceded her in death.

She is survived by three daughters and one son in law: Maria Edwards of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Donna and Ronald Butkovich of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Lynn Edwards of Tucson, Arizona.

One sister, Ruth Morris of Granite City, Illinois, survives.

Five grandchildren, Tana (Rob) Foss, Jason (Jill) Butkovich, Patrick (Kathy) Butkovich, Travis (Valerie) Teetor and Lucas Teetor and three great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Foss, Corbey Foss and Sidney Butkovich, also survive.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.

A funeral for 78-year-old Jean M. Edwards of Ste. Genevieve will be held at noon Tuesday, October 29th, at the Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.

Memorials may be made to the Ste. Genevieve Nutrition Center.

The Basler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
