Shirley A. Favier Funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002 for 67-year-old Shirley A. Favier of Perryville who died Wednesday, Oct. 2 at her residence. She was born on Nov. 13, 1934 in Perryville, the daughter of the late Albert R. and Frances E. (Schmidt) Baylard. She was married to Thomas "Blackie" Favier. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1986. Five daughters and three sons-in-law and two sons and one daughter-in-law survive: Charryl and Mark Rudesill of Cape Girardeau; Denise and James Hildebrand of St. Louis; Tammy Buchheit of Perryville; Kenny Favier of Perryville; Michelle "Micki" and Rick Brown of Cape Girardeau; Tom and Ann Favier of St. Louis; and Kelly Favier of Perryivlle. One half sister and one half brother survive, Judy Scott and Patrick Baylard, both of Kansas City, Mo. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her step father, Albert Bergman. She was a member of Imanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, V.F.W. ladies Auxiliary, 1952 PHS graduate, girls Scout Leader, PTA and PTL president, and 1989 St. Louis Community College graduate. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 4 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday between 6:30-11:30 a.m. at the Young and Sons Chapel. The V.F.W. Auxiliary wake will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday. Funeral service for Shirley A. Favier will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial preference is to the American Cancer Society or Immanuel Lutheran School Building Fund.
