Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002 for 69-year-old Christine Boyer of St. Mary who died Sunday, Nov. 17 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on April 8, 1933, the daughter of the late Robert Newton and Lura May (Parrish) Freeman.

She was married to William R. Boyer on Aug. 20, 1949. He preceded her in death.

Two sons and four daughters survive: Jackie R. Boyer of Granite City, Ill.; Darrell W. Boyer of Granite City, Mo.; Brenda S. Aberle of St. Clair, Mo.; Debra A. Ernst of St. Louis; Janice I. Sims of Cahokia, Ill.; and Terri L. Boyer of Tamms, Ill.

One sister, Nadine Knight, survives in St. Mary.

Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A sister, Glen Dora Ellis, and a brother, Harold Freeman, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary.

Funeral service for Christine Boyer will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary. Rev. Irvin Brooks will officiate. Burial will be at Whites Mill Cemetery in Ellisnore, Mo.
