A funeral will be held Tuesday, March 5th, 2002 for 80-year-old Erwin E. Gegg of Ste. Genevieve who died Saturday, March 2nd at Riverview Manor Nursing Home in Ste. Genevieve.

He was born Tuesday, October 11th, 1921 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of Edward Gegg and Ottilia Brischle who both preceded him in death.

He married Ursula Basler on June 1st, 1943 in Ste. Genevieve. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.

Two daughters and one son in law also survive him: Mary and Cecil Boyer of Ozora and Geri Hundley of Boonville.

One brother and sister in law, Vincent and Gilbreta Gegg of Ste. Genevieve and a sister and brother in law, Rita and Welton Kist all of Ste. Genevieve, also survive.

Three grandchildren and a great grandchild also survive him.

One great grandchild also preceded him in death.

Visitation will be at 3 p.m. today at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 80-year-old Erwin E. Gegg of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be at the Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. John Deken will officiate.
