Elnora R. Brown Funeral service will be held Friday, June 28, 2002 for 69-year-old Elnora R. Brown of St. Mary who died Tuesday, June 25 at St. Louis University Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 23, 1932 in Kaskaskia, Ill., the daughter of the late Clarence and Violet (Jackson) Denniger. She was married to Jules Brown on July 5, 1951. He survives in St. Mary.. One daughter, Audry Bruckerhoff, survives in St. Mary. Two brothers and four sisters survive her, Clarence Denniger of St. Mary; Stanley Denniger of Perryville; Gladys Moll of St. Mary; Erma Hoggenmiller of St. Mary; Zelma Allen of St. Mary; and Eunice Allen of St. Mary. Two grandchildren, Jason and Amanda Brown, and one step-grandchild, Barry Huber, also survive. One son, Thomas Brown, preceded her in death. She was past matron and member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 338 in St. Mary, Capha Scottish Rite Womans Club, church clerk and member of Women on Mission of Trinity Baptist Church. Visitation will be today (Thursday) after 3:00 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary. The Order of Easter Star will meet at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service for Elnora R. Brown will be held Friday, June 28, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church. Rev. Irvin Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Marys Cemetery in St. Mary. Memorials can be made to Community Counseling Center For Children’s Services.
