A funeral will be held Friday, June 28th, 2002 for 84-year-old Barney H. Herzog of Coffman, who died Tuesday, June 25th at the Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

He was born November 23rd, 1917 in Coffman, the son of Henry and Catherine (Basler) Herzog, who both preceded in death.

He married Lucille (Hoog) Herzog on August 24th, 1946 in Zell. She survives.

He is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Dennis and Agnes Herzog of Coffman and two daughters and sons-in-law: Norma Jean and Steve Womack of Irvine, CA and Betty and Raymond Wolk of Coffman.

Nine grandchildren also survive.

He was also preceded in death by one son, three sisters and five brothers.

He was a member of the VFW Post in Farmington and the Western Catholic Union.

Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Thursday, June 27th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 84-year-old Barney H. Herzog will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 28th at St. Catherine Church. Burial will be in the St. Catherine Cemetery in Coffman with Reverend Joseph Reilly officiating.
