Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 15th, 2002 for 85-year-old Ellen T. Graves who died Wednesday, June 12th at Grandview Nursing Home in Washington.

She was born February 13th, 1917 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine (Valle) Hermann.

She married Gilbert H. Kertz. He preceded her in death.

She married William F. Graves on May 20^th, 1983. He preceded her in death.

One daughter and one son survive, Mary Ann Schneider of Washington and Royce Kertz of St. Louis.

One brother and one sister survive, Elsie, Mrs. Francis Weiler, and Elmer Hermann, both of Ste. Genevieve.

Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

One son, Jerome Kertz; one brother, Edgar Hermann; and one sister, Earlyn, Mrs. Frank Bahr, preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Western Catholic Union and the VFW Auxiliary.

Visitation will be Friday, June 14th from 4-8 p.m. at the Wood Family Funeral home.

A funeral Mass for Ellen T. Graves will be held Saturday, June 15th at 10 a.m. at Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Festus.

Family requests memorials in the form of Masses, Valle Schools or VFW Auxiliary Cancer Fund.
