Funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002 for 27-year-old Mike M. Heberlie Sr. of Ste. Genevieve who died Monday, Feb. 25 in Ste. Genevieve.

He was born on May 26, 1974 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of Larry Heberlie of Minnith and Susan Abernathy of Perryville.

He was married to Amy (Moss) Heberlie on Sept. 30, 1995. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.

Two sons survive, Michael Heberlie and Corey Heberlie, both of Ste. Genevieve and one unborn child due in August.

Six brothers and one sister survive: Shawn Heberlie of Ste. Genevieve; Shannon Heberlie of St. Mary; Eric Heberlie of Farmington; Braden Heberlie of Minnith; Brandon Heberlie of Minnith; and Raechel Heberlie of Perryville.

Paternal grandfather, Gilbert Heberlie, and grandparents Clarence and Blanche Dowdy, all survive in Minnith.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Frances Heberlie and a father-in-law Joseph Moss.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 27 after 4 p.m. at the Basler funeral Home.

Funeral service for Mike M. Heberlie Sr. will be held Thursday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Ste. Genevieve. Rev. Roger Faulker will officiate.

Burial will be in Valle Spring Cemetery.
