A funeral will be held Friday, April 12th, 2002 for 67-year-old Roy S. Cavins of Hardy, Arkansas, formerly of St. Mary who died Tuesday, April 9th at St. Anthony's Health Center in St. Louis.

He was born Wednesday, November 7th, 1934, in St. Louis, the son of Samuel and Julia Cavins who both preceded him in death.

He married Joyce "Arlene" Cavins on September 17th, 1964 in Ste. Genevieve. She preceded him in death.

One son, Russell Baker of Fenton and one daughter and son in law, Barbara and George Easley of House Springs survive him.

One brother, Everett Cavins of Ste. Genevieve and a sister, Jacqueline A. Joggerst of St. Mary also survive.

An aunt, Hazel Boland of St. Mary, also survives him.

Two grandchildren and 13 nieces and nephews also survive him.

One brother, Earl Cavins, also preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 11th from 5-8 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary.

A funeral for 67-year-old Roy S. Cavins of Hardy, Arkansas, formerly of St. Mary, will be held Friday, April 12th at 1 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary. The Rev. Don Estes will officiate.
