Morgan Gano Bryan A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 2nd, 2002 for 95-year-old Morgan Gano Bryan of Effingham, Illinois, formerly of Ste. Genevieve who died Saturday, March 30th in Effingham. He was born Monday, August 6th, 1906 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of Thomas Augustus and Mary (Baumann) Bryan who both preceded him in death. He married Lela Christisen on June 9, 1934. She preceded him in death on Feb. 25, 1959. He married Gladys Busiek on Feb. 14, 1963. She preceded him in death on March 4, 1983. Two sons, Thomas Gano Bryan of St. Louis and Michael Morgan Bryan of Macedonia, survive him. He is survived by one daughter, Sheila (Bryan) Fuesting of Effingham. Eighteen grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive. He was also preceded in death by one son, William Joseph Bryan and two sisters, Mary Louisa "Lucy" Bryan and Genevieve Douglas Bryan. He was a former member of the St. Bernadette Parish in St. Louis. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. this (Monday, April 1st) afternoon and evening at the John L. Ziegenhorn and Sons Funeral Home, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis and 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, April 2nd at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for 95-year-old Morgan Gano Bryan of Effingham, Illinois, formerly of Ste. Genevieve, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 2nd, at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Hager will officiate.
