Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2001 for 69-year-old Arnold D. "Gabby" Bova who died Monday, September 10 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on July 23, 1932 in Kaskaskia, Ill., the son of the late Hester Howard and Eathel Bova.

He was married to Pauline Allen. She survives.

Children surviving are Don Bova of Kaskaskia, Ill.; and Jim Bova, Lawrence Trollinger, William Trollinger, and Debbie Cavins, all of St. Mary.

Also surviving are two brothers, Bob Howard and Don Howard, both of Festus, and one sister, Patsy White, of Kimswick.

Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

He was a member of American Legion Post 150 and VFW Post 2210.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11 after 5 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary.
