A funeral will be held Thursday, November 29th, 2001 for 97-year-old Augusta K. Carron of Bloomsdale who died Saturday, November 24th at the Riverview Manor Nursing Home.

She was born December 14th, 1903 in Bloomsdale, the daughter of Fabian Kirchner and Anna Mueller, who both preceded her in death.

She married Ben Carron on May 8th, 1933. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter in law, Ben J. Carron of Huntsville, Alabama and Eldon and Marie Carron of Bloomsdale and one daughter and son in law, Yvonne and Roy Nomura of Town and Country.

Twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and many friends also survive.

She was also preceded in death by six sisters, Evelyn Hogenmiller, Irene Jugbauer, Agnes Karl, Nettie Kirchner, Sister Fabiana Kirchner, and Rose Schmelzle, and two brothers, Francis Kirchner and Lawrence Kirchner.

She attended St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the St. Ann Sodality.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Thursday, November 29th at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale.

A funeral for 97-year-old Augusta K. Carron of Bloomsdale will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 29th at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. Burial will be in the St. Agnes Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Oge will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred or donations to the St. Agnes Building Fund.
