William "Bill" Beckerman

Memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001 for 64-year-old William "Bill" Beckerman of Ste. Genevieve who died Tuesday, Nov. 20 at his residence.

He was born on Aug. 30, 1937 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of the late Ralph R. Beckerman Sr. and Edith Baum.

He was married to Phyllis Beckerman on May 12, 1962. She preceded him in death on September 7, 1997.

One son and two daughters survive, Bill Beckerman of Ste. Genevieve; and Lori Johnson and Lisa Thompson, both of Columbia.

Brothers and sisters surviving are Jim Beckerman of Ste. Genevieve; Joe Beckerman of Kansas City; Ralph "Bo" Beckerman of Ste. Genevieve; Mary Lexa of Forest Hills, Vir.; Barbara Roseland of Thousandoaks, Cal.; and Anne Ross of Barnhart.

Four grandchildren survive, Nate and Campbell Thompson, and Seth and Emma Johnson.

His fiancée, Patricia Medlin, survives in Carbondale, Ill.

He was a member of Weingarten Jaycees, NRA, Join Levee Commiccion Board, Levee District #2, Ducks Unlimited, President of Waterway Investors, Inc. and Marina de Gabouri.

Memorial service for William "Bill" Beckerman will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at Church of Ste. Genevieve.

Memorial preference is to Valle Schools or Ducks Unlimited.
