A funeral will be held Thursday, March 22nd, 2001 for 66-year-old Robert L. Brown Sr. who died today, March 20th, at Missouri Baptist Hospital.

He was born December 28th, 1934 in St. Mary, the son of Kirby Brown and Mildred Bova, who preceded in death.

He married Velma J. Elder on July 28th, 1956 in Missouri. She survives.

He is also survived by two sons and one daughter in law: Mark Brown and Bob and Kendra Brown Jr. all of Perryville.

Two daughters and one son in law also survive: Terri Adams of Perryville and Robin and Shirley Jr. Grogg of St. Mary.

Two brothers and one sister in law survive: Jack Brown and Vic and Kathy Brown, all of Chester, Illinois.

Twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren survive.

One son and one grandchild also preceded him in death.

He attended Immaculate Conception Church in St. Mary. He was a member of the American Legion Post 133 in Perryville, Knights of Columbus in Perryville and the Perryville AmVets.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21st after 4 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary.

A funeral for 66-year-old Robert L. Brown Sr. of St. Mary will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 22nd at the Immaculate Conception Church in St. Mary. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to the Immaculate Conception Church.
