A funeral will be held Thursday, March 15th, 2001 for 87-year-old Barbara M. Bowman of Ste. Genevieve, who died Monday, March 12th at the Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

She was born May 28th, 1913 in Linn, the daughter of John Brandt and Elizabeth Adelhart, who both preceded in death.

She married DeVere "Slim" Bowman on October 26th, 1940. He preceded in death.

She is survived by one son and daughter in law, John Joe and Edna Bowman of Ste. Genevieve.

One daughter and son in law survives, Barbara and Darrell Thurman of Festus.

One sister survives, Clara Sexton of St. Louis.

She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

She was a housewife and attended the Church of Ste. Genevieve.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 14th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 87-year-old Barbara M. Bowman of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 15th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery.
