Hilda M. Herzog

A funeral will be held Monday, March 12th, 2001 for 94-year-old Hilda M. Herzog of Bloomsdale, who died this morning (Friday, March 9th) at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 22nd, 1907 in Bloomsdale, the daughter of Joseph A. Schilly and Ursula Boyer, who both preceded in death.

She married Valentine Herzog on September 23rd, 1930 in Bloomsdale. He preceded in death.

A son and daughter in law survive her, Larry and Wanda Herzog of Ste. Genevieve.

A daughter and son in law also survive, Georgia and Clarence "Bud" Figge of Ste. Genevieve.

One brother, Stephen Schilly of Brentwood and two sisters, Charlotte Brunson of Arnold and Stella Weiler of Lemay, also survive.

Six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive her.

One sister, and her stepmother also preceded in death.

She was a housekeeper and attended St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella in Bloomsdale, the Golden Age Club, the Bloomsdale Senior Citizens and the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Sunday, March 11th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 94-year-old Hilda M. Herzog of Bloomsdale will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 12th at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Oge will officiate.
