Marie D. Bauman A funeral will be held Tuesday, June 26th, 2001 for 91-year-old Marie D. Bauman of Zell, who died Sunday, June 24th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. She was born August 29th, 1909 in Zell, the daughter of Frank Huck and Caroline Schmelzle, who both preceded her in death. She married Aloys H. Bauman on September 30th, 1929. He preceded her in death. She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law: Leroy and Ann Bauman, Robert and Carol Bauman and Vernon and Geraldine Bauman, all of Ste. Genevieve and Wallace Bauman of Zell. She is also survived by four daughters and four sons-in-law: Mary Ann and Herbert Flieg Jr. of New Offenburg; Paulette and Dennis Gegg of Zell; Virginia and Ralph Griffard of Atascadero, California; and Clarabelle and Charles Meyer of Arnold. A daughter in law and her husband also survive: Janet and Gerry Bachman of Eureka. A sister-in-law and her husband also survive: Wilma and Leonard Huck of Zell. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren and 67 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Bauman; one daughter, Sylvia Bauman; five brothers, Andrew, Edward, Joe , Leonard and Tom Huck; four sisters: Katie Huck, Sr. Rose Marie Huck, Emma Jokerst and Theresa Palmer. She was a housewife. She attended St. Joseph Church. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Joseph at Zell and the Western Catholic Union. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. this (Monday, June 25th) afternoon and evening at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for 91-year-old Marie D. Bauman of Zell will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 26th at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Zell. The Rev. James Hanson will officiate. Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Church or school.
