A funeral will be held Monday, June 25th, 2001 for 88-year-old Rachelle E. Bullard of Ste. Genevieve who died today, Friday, June 22nd, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 23rd, 1912 in Metropolitan, Michigan, the daughter of John Seelund and Anna Nygard who both preceded her in death.

She married William J. Bullard Sr. on June 8th, 1933. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters in law: Arthur Ray and Kathleen Bullard of Ste. Genevieve; Troy and Jeanne Bullard of Mascoutah, Illinois; and William "Jack" J. Bullard Jr. of Ste. Genevieve.

She is also survived by four daughters and three sons in law: Patricia J. Bullard, Roseanne and Wayne Hutson, Bonita and Robert Rehm and Esther and Clarence Roth, all of Ste. Genevieve.

One brother survives: Rudolph Sellund of Iron Mountain.

Three sisters survive: Linnea Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Esther Bruchman of the state of Wisconsin; and Gerda Johnson of Chicago, Illinois.

She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and one great grandchild.

She was a housewife and attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Ste. Genevieve, where she was a member of the Thursday Bible Class.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Sunday, June 24th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 88-year-old Rachelle E. Bullard of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 25th at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Richard Thur will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church Building Fund.
