Louis P. Basler

A funeral will be held Saturday, January 27th, 2001 for 91-year-old Louis P. Basler of Ste. Genevieve who died today, Thursday, January 25th, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born October 16th, 1909 in Bloomsdale, the son of Charles Basler and Josephine Isenman.

He married Odile Basler. She preceded in death.

He is survived by three sons and daughters in law: Charles F. and Arlene Basler of Zell, David and Terry Basler of Ste. Genevieve and Robert and Modesta Basler of River aux Vases.

10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive him.

One brother, three sisters and one grandchild also preceded him in death.

He attended Our Lady, Help of Christians Catholic Church in Weingarten.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 1848.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday, January 26th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A Knights of Columbus service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

A funeral for 91-year-old Louis P. Basler of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 27th at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Weingarten. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. John Suren will officiate.
