Wilburn C. ‘Beans’ Armbruster A funeral will be held Tuesday, January 23rd, 2001 for 91-year-old Wilburn C. "Beans" Armbruster of Bloomsdale who died Saturday, January 20th at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kinsey on April 16th, 1909, the son of William Armbruster and Alice Aubuchon who preceded in death. He married Beulah Armbruster in 1935. She preceded in death. He is survived by one son and daughter in law, Charles and Janet Armbruster of St. Louis. Three daughters and two sons in law survive: Ruth Bennett of Ste. Genevieve, Shirley and Wayne Operle of Festus and Betty and Jim Thacker of Bloomsdale. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister. He was formerly employed at PPG as a glasscutter. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today, (Monday, January 22nd) at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for 91-year-old Wilburn C. "Beans" Armbruster of Bloomsdale will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, January 23rd at the Basler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale. The Rev. Roger Faulkner will officiate.
