Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001 for 74-year-old Virginia B. Gillam of Ste. Genevieve who died Monday, Feb. 12 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on March 15, 1926 in East St. Louis, Ill, the daughter of Edward Gambill and Ada Presnell.

She was married to Edward L. Phillips in 1942. He preceded her in death.

She then married Paul E. Gillam in 1977. He preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 2000.

Children surviving are Jerry B. Phillips of Springfield; Gary L. Phillips of Perryville; Michael Phillips of Perryville; Dennis E. Phillips of St. Mary; and Ann Hahn of Ste. Genevieve.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was employed at BiltBest Windows from 1968-1979.

One son, Paul H. Phillips; one daughter, Sandra K. Malin; and three sisters, Lila, Lorraine and Dorothy, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-9 p.m.

Funeral service for Virginia B. Gillam will be held Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001 at 1 p.m. Bruial in the Brow Cemetery in St. Mary.
