Thelma M. Figge A funeral will be held Thursday, February 8th, 2001 for 82-year-old Thelma M. Figge of Bethalto, IL, formerly of Ste. Genevieve who died Sunday, February 4th at her home. She was born November 13th, 1918 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of the late William and Viola Nanney Meyer. She married Tobias Figge in 1933 in Ste. Genevieve, he preceded in death. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Charlotte and Latham Simms of Moro, IL and Geraldine and George Lippisch of Cedar Rapids, IA, one son survives: Kenneth Figge of Carlyle, IL. She is also survived by four sisters: Marie Mudd of East Alton, IL, Juanita Porter of Bethalto, IL, Lavern Kingsley of Bethalto, IL and Mavis Melton of Ste. Genevieve, two brothers survive: Don and Joan Meyer of Rosewood Heights, IL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, a sister and a brother. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Bethalto, IL. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 7th at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, IL with a prayer service at 4 p.m. A funeral mass for 82-year-old Thelma M. Figge of Bethalto, IL, formerly of Ste. Genevieve, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 8th at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto, IL with Minister Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial in the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL. Memorials may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bethalto, IL.
