Betty J. Gendron A funeral will be held Friday, December 28th, 2001 for 71-year-old Betty J. Gendron of St. Mary who died Tuesday, December 25th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. She was born Friday, January 10th, 1930 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Carl W. Chambers and Hyacinthe (Harper) Chambers, who both preceded her in death. She married Adrian Gendron. He preceded her in death. She is survived by four sons: Ron and his wife Jan of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; Larry "Vince" of Toledo, Ohio; Kenneth "Bo" of Pelion, South Carolina; and Randy of Lisbon, Ohio. She is also survived by four daughters: Carol Gendron and her husband, Darrell, of Kaskaskia, Illinois; Brenda Deimund of St. Mary; Linda Gendron of Perryville; and Tammy Williams and her husband, Brad, of Steeleville, Illinois. One sister survives: Gwen Burton and her husband, Dave, of Arnold. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Thursday, December 27th at the Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary. A funeral for 71-year-old Betty J. Gendron of St. Mary will be held Friday, December 28th at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church in St. Mary. Burial will be in the Kaskaskia Cemetery in Kaskaskia, Illinois. The Rev. Irvin Brooks will officiate.
