A funeral will be held Saturday, December 15th, 2001 for 77-year-old George C. Davis of Ste. Genevieve, who died Wednesday, December 12th at St. Mary's Health Center.

He was born March 15th, 1924 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of George C. Davis and Mary R. Meyer. They both preceded him in death.

He married Virginia Samson on April 24th, 1947 in Ste. Genevieve. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.

He is also survived by one son, Michael Davis of Ste. Genevieve and one daughter, Cynthia Larrick of Salina, KS.

He was a teacher and a member of Ste. Genevieve Knights of Columbus No. 1037 and VFW Post 2210. He is also served in the Army from 1942-1946.

Visitation will be Friday, December 14th after 5 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home. There will be a VFW Service at 7 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus Service at 7:30.

A funeral service for 77-year-old George C. Davis of Ste. Genevieve will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 15th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery with Father John Deken officiating.
