Florence V. Carron A funeral will be held Wednesday, August 29th, 2001 for 90-year-old Florence V. Carron of Bloomsdale, who died Monday, August 27th. She was born July 18th, 1911 in Lawrenceton, the daughter of Anthony Werner and Josephine Grither. They both preceded her in death. She married Cletus Naeger in 1942. He preceded her in death. She then married Alvin Carron in 1948. He also preceded her in death. She is survived by four children: Sophia Grass of Bloomsdale, Cletis Witte of Kirkwood, Werner Carron of Lawrenceton and Joyce Huck of Zell. She is also survived by two sisters: Anna Eisenbeis of Ste. Genevieve and Lorene Kist of Lawrenceton. Eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one grandchild. She was a housewife and avid quilter who was a member of the St. Lawrence Ladies Sodality. Visitaiton at the Wood Family Funeral Home Tuesday, Aug. 28 from 5-9 p.m. The VFW will pay its last respects at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 28th at Wood Family Funeral Home. A funeral for 90-year-old Florence V. Carron of Bloomsdale will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 29th at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery with Monsignor James Hanson officiating. Memorials may be made to the VFW Auxiliary Cancer Fund, to Masses or to the St. Lawrence Parish.
