Leo H. Herzog

A funeral will be held Wednesday, October 25th for 86-year-old Leo H. Herzog of Ste. Genevieve, who died Friday, October 20th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born December 16th, 1913 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of Henry Herzog and Barbara Wipfler who preceded in death.

He married Kathryn "Becky" Beckerman. She survives.

He is also survived by three sons and one daughter in law: Jim and Sherry Herzog of Weingarten, John Herzog of Ste. Genevieve and Mike Herzog of Weingarten.

He is also survived by two daughters and one son in law: Lee Borowiak of Ste. Genevieve and Lynn and James Cathey of Overland Park, Kansas.

One sister survives: Clementine Belovich of Ste. Genevieve.

He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

He attended the Church of Ste. Genevieve and was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 24th after 3 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home.

A funeral for 86-year-old Leo Herzog of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 25th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery. The Rev. Gregory Schmidt will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, Valle Schools, American Heart Association or to the Riverview Manor Nursing Home.
