Funeral service will be held Friday, May 26, 2000 for 80-year-old Donald M. Donze Sr, formerly of Ste. Genevieve, who died Tuesday, May 23, 2000 at Barnes Extended Care facility.

He was born on January 31, 1920 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of the late Lawrence W. Donze and Elizabeth M. Huck.

He was married to Bette J. Fallert. She preceded him in death.

The following children survive him: Lawrence W. Donze of Springfield, Mo.; Donald M. Donze Jr. of Snow Mass, Col.; Trisha P. Donze of St. Louis; Linda Nanney of St. Louis; Ellen, Mrs. Randy Roehrs of Festus; and Susan, Mrs. Michael Ryan, of St. Louis.

Brothers and sister surviving are Elmer Donze and his wife Betty of Ste. Genevieve; William Donze and his wife Betty of Hudson, Fla; and Aileen, Mrs. Ralph Portell, of Ste. Genevieve.

Twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

The following brothers and sisters preceded him in death: Jerome "Noonie" Donze, Norbert "Boats" Donze, Cornelia Edwards; Doris Grenier-Neal and Aldine Lalumondier.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2000 at the Basler Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Donald M. Donze, Sr. will be held Friday, May 26 at 11 a.m. at Church of Ste. Genevieve. Rev. John Deken will officiate. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery.
