Joyce L. Kuehl

A funeral will be held Thursday, March 9th for 50-year-old Joyce L. Kuehl of Ste. Genevieve who died Saturday, March 4th at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born September 13th, 1949 in St. Louis, the daughter of Stephen Thiemann who preceded in death and LaVern Harter who survives in St. Louis.

She married James W. Kuehl on September 27th, 1973. He survives.

Two sons also survive her: Stephen Sterling Kuehl of Fort Bragg, North Carolina and William James and his wife, Chastity Kuehl of Laramie, Wyoming.

One brother, Steven Thiemann, survives in Washington.

Two sisters, Judy Cook of Dallas, Texas and Janice Leight of Maplewood, also survive.

She is also survived by three stepchildren: Timothy James and his wife, Loretta Kuehl of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Mark Edward Kuehl of St. Louis and Leane Marie, Mrs. Larry Anderson of Corona, California.

Six grandchildren also survive her.

A sister and her stepmother also preceded her in death.

She was a medical transcriptionist.

She attended the Church of Ste. Genevieve.

Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 9th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 50-year-old Joyce L. Kuehl of Ste. Genevieve will be held Thursday, March 9th at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Reverend John Deken will officiate. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or to the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Oncology Construction Fund.
