Bertha E. Gretzmacher

A funeral will be held Thursday, March 8th for 63-year-old Bertha E. Gretzmacher of Ste. Genevieve who died Saturday, March 4th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 8th, 1936 in River aux Vases, the daughter of Eles LaRose and Genevieve Schmeiderer, who preceded in death.

She is survived by five sons: Ben Gretzmacher, Eles Gretzmacher, Eric Gretzmacher, and Gary Gretzmacher, all of Ste. Genevieve and Elroy Gretzmacher of Fenton.

Two daughters, Mona Gretzmacher and Terri, Mrs. Ed Stretch, both of Ste. Genevieve, also survive.

Two sisters, Ruth, Mrs. James Arnold and Ethel, Mrs. Kenneth Henderson, both of Ste. Genevieve, survive.

Six grandchildren also survive her.

She was an assembly worker.

She was a member of VFW Post 2210, American Legion Auxiliary and Ste. Genevieve Eagles Auxiliary.

The American Legion and V.F.W. auxiliaries will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 8. The Eagles Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 8th, at the funeral home.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 8th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 63-year-old Bertha E. Gretzmacher of Ste. Genevieve will be held Wednesday, March 8th at the Basler Funeral Home. The Reverend Raymond Oge will officiate. Burial will be Thursday, March 9 at 10 a.m. at Valle Springs Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to the family.
