Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2000 for 90-year-old Henry S. Gegg of Ozora who died Wednesday, July 5, 2000 at Riverview Manor Nursing Home.

He was born on November 22, 1909 in Ozora, the son of the late Severin Gegg and Augusta Bauman.

He was married to Mary Mabel Roth. She survives in Ozora.

Children surviving are Melbourne "Jim" Gegg of Ste. Genevieve; Melvin Gegg of Zell; Norman Gegg of Ste. Genevieve; Robert Gegg of Perryville; Wayne Gegg of Zell; William Gegg of Ozora; Pat Labruyere of Festus; Mary Lipp of Ozora; Betty Naeger of Bloomsdale; and Linda Snow of Lakeland, Fla.

One sister, Dorothy Roth, survives in Ste. Genevieve.

Twenty-nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren also survive.

One son, Stanley Gegg; two brothers, Oscar and Richard; and two sisters, Theresa Grass and Evelyn Viox, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2000 at the Basler Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Henry S. Gegg will be held Saturday, July 8, 2000 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Rev. James Schaefer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to River Manor or for Masses.
