Funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000 for 84-year-old Edwin A. Harris of Bloomsdale who died Monday at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Richmond Heights, Mo.

He was born on July 21, 1915 in St. Louis.

He was married to Virginia (Hoeckele) Harris. She preceded him in death.

Children surviving are Patricia Ann Rein of St. Louis; Mona E. Smith of Crystal City; Ronald L. Harris of Lemay, Mo.; Jerry W. Trask of Fort Branch, Ind.; Charles S. Trask of Bloomsdale; and Albert L. Trask of DeSoto.

Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive him.

Several brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 5, 2000 from 1-5 p.m. at the Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, Mo.

Funeral service for Edwin A. Harris will be Thursday, January 6, 2000 at 1 p.m. at the Vinyard Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Thur, pastor of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Ste. Genevieve will officiate.

Burial will be in Fairview Presbyterian Cemetery in Festus.
