Hazel Bonnell

A funeral will be held tonight, Monday, January 17, 2000 for 86-year-old Hazel Bonnell (McCann) Brooks of Ste. Genevieve, who died Saturday, January 15th at Riverview Manor Nursing Home.

She was born October 27th, 1913 in Butler, the daughter of Ray Lee McCann and Mabel Wolmack McCann who both preceded in death.

She married Winfred Henry Brooks on October 7th, 1932. He preceded in death.

Two children survive her: Joan Thomure of Ste. Genevieve and Marjorie Canfield of Dallas City, Illinois.

One grandchild and two great grandchildren also survive her.

Brothers and sisters surviving are Annabel Hutson of Warrensburg and Earl McCann of Butler.

One brother preceded in death.

She was a registered nurse, a member of the St. Louis County Nursing Association and a member of Kirkwood First Christian Church.

Visitation will be held this evening from 5-7 at the Stanton Wood Mortuary.

A funeral service for 86-year-old Hazel Bonnell (McCann) Brooks will be held at 7 this evening at the Stanton-Wood Mortuary Chapel.

Burial will be in the Patterson Cemetery in Patterson Tuesday at 1 p.m.
